Conquest Law PLLC (“Conquest Law,” “Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of individuals who visit our websites, respond to our advertisements, schedule consultations, communicate with us, participate in our intake process, use our proprietary text-message scanning technology, submit scan reports, or otherwise interact with our services.
This Privacy Policy and Notice at Collection (“Privacy Policy”) explains how Conquest Law may collect, receive, access, use, process, disclose, retain, protect, and delete information in connection with our websites, landing pages, advertisements, appointment-booking systems, communications systems, proprietary scanning software, consultations, prospective-client intake, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy should be read together with the Conquest Law Website, Intake, Communications, and TCPA Scan Terms of Service (“Terms”). If Conquest Law agrees to represent you, additional privacy, confidentiality, attorney-client privilege, professional-responsibility, record-retention, and other obligations may apply pursuant to applicable law and your separate engagement agreement.
This Privacy Policy does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is established only as provided in the Firm’s Terms and applicable engagement agreement. Information submitted during a genuine consultation concerning potential representation may nevertheless be subject to duties applicable to prospective clients under applicable professional-conduct rules even where no attorney-client relationship is ultimately formed.

This Privacy Policy does not necessarily govern independent websites, software, platforms, or services operated by third parties. Third-party services are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
2. CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT
Depending upon how you interact with Conquest Law, we may collect or process the following categories of information.
A. IDENTIFIERS AND CONTACT INFORMATION
We may collect identifiers and contact information including your name, telephone number, email address, mailing address, state of residence, IP address, device identifiers, browser identifiers, session identifiers, advertising identifiers, appointment identifiers, and similar information.
B. INTAKE AND PROSPECTIVE-CLIENT INFORMATION
We may collect information you voluntarily provide concerning your potential legal matter, including descriptions of events, potential opposing parties, dates, communications, consent history, opt-out history, contractual relationships, damages, evidence, screenshots, correspondence, documents, and other information reasonably relevant to evaluating possible representation.
Some of this information may be confidential, sensitive, privileged, or otherwise protected under applicable law or professional-responsibility rules depending upon the circumstances in which it is provided.
C. TEXT-MESSAGE AND SCAN-RELATED INFORMATION
If you voluntarily participate in a Conquest Law Scan, information associated with your Scan may include telephone numbers, sender names or identifiers, dates, times, message excerpts, message content, URLs, opt-out language, communication patterns, metadata, classifications, analytical flags, potential legal issues, and other information derived from messages that you authorize for analysis.
The underlying Scan is designed primarily to occur locally on your own computer or device. Conquest Law does not intentionally require your complete underlying message export or complete message database to be uploaded to the Firm merely to conduct the local Scan.
If you elect to provide a Scan Report to Conquest Law, however, we may receive and retain the information contained in that report.
D. SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION
Information processed through the Services may, depending upon its nature and applicable law, constitute “sensitive personal information” or a similar category of protected data.
Such information may include, among other things, contents or excerpts of communications, account credentials if inadvertently displayed or supplied, precise information concerning legal disputes, and other information that applicable law classifies as sensitive.
Conquest Law does not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you for unrelated commercial purposes.
E. COMMUNICATIONS INFORMATION
We may collect records concerning communications between you and Conquest Law, including telephone-call information, SMS or MMS communications, emails, contact preferences, opt-in records, opt-out records, delivery information, message status, correspondence, and related metadata.
F. AUDIO, VIDEO, AND SCREEN-SHARING INFORMATION
Where you separately consent to recording, Conquest Law may collect an audio or video recording of a meeting, including information displayed through screen sharing during that meeting.
You are responsible for closing or concealing information you do not wish to display during voluntary screen sharing.
G. INTERNET, WEBSITE, DEVICE, AND USAGE INFORMATION
We may collect information concerning your interaction with our digital properties, including pages visited, links selected, advertisement interactions, referring URLs, date and time information, browser type, operating system, approximate geographic information derived from an IP address, device information, session activity, conversion events, form interactions, and similar usage information.
H. ADVERTISING AND ATTRIBUTION INFORMATION
We may collect advertising-related information such as advertisement impressions, advertisement interactions, campaign identifiers, conversion events, referral information, audience information, cookie or pixel identifiers, and information used to evaluate or improve advertising campaigns.
I. PRIVACY AND CONSENT RECORDS
We may collect and retain records evidencing your consent, authorization, or exercise of privacy rights, including the version of a disclosure or agreement presented to you, checkbox selections, telephone number, email address, date and time of acceptance, IP address, browser or device information, session identifiers, opt-out requests, deletion requests, and related records.
J. PROFESSIONAL OR LEGAL INFORMATION
If relevant to a potential or actual representation, we may collect information concerning legal proceedings, claims, disputes, contracts, court records, arbitration matters, governmental records, or other information relevant to evaluating or handling a legal matter.
3. SOURCES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may obtain personal information:
(a) directly from you;
(b) from your authorized use of the Scan Tool;
(c) from a Scan Report you elect to provide to us;
(d) from your device or browser through cookies or similar technologies;
(e) from advertising and analytics platforms;
(f) from scheduling, communications, videoconferencing, hosting, or other service providers;
(g) from publicly available sources where reasonably relevant to evaluating a potential matter;
(h) from attorneys, referral sources, authorized representatives, or other persons acting with appropriate authority; and
(i) from other sources as permitted by applicable law.
4. HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION
Conquest Law may use personal information to:
(a) provide, operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Services;
(b) schedule and conduct consultations or Scan meetings;
(c) verify your identity or contact information;
(d) communicate with you regarding an inquiry, appointment, Scan, potential matter, or legal representation;
(e) send calls, texts, emails, reminders, follow-ups, and other communications for which you have provided consent or that are otherwise permitted by law;
(f) perform or facilitate a Scan;
(g) receive and analyze a Scan Report;
(h) identify communications potentially warranting attorney review;
(i) screen and evaluate potential legal claims;
(j) investigate potential defendants, senders, entities, consent histories, contractual issues, arbitration provisions, potential defenses, and other matters relevant to legal evaluation;
(k) conduct conflicts checks;
(l) determine whether Conquest Law is willing and legally able to offer representation;
(m) maintain records of prospective-client or client communications where appropriate;
(n) satisfy legal, ethical, professional-responsibility, regulatory, evidentiary, and recordkeeping obligations;
(o) detect fraud, manipulation, misuse, security incidents, or unauthorized use of the Services;

(q) respond to privacy requests and communications preferences;
(r) establish, document, or defend the existence and scope of consent;
(s) measure website traffic and advertising effectiveness;

(v) comply with law, court process, professional rules, governmental requests, or lawful legal obligations; and
(w) establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We will not collect additional categories of personal information or materially use personal information for new purposes that are incompatible with the purposes disclosed at collection without providing additional notice or obtaining consent where required by applicable law.
5. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND AUTOMATED PROCESSING
Conquest Law’s Scan Tool may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural-language processing, pattern recognition, rules-based analysis, automated classification, or other computational technologies to analyze Message Data.
These systems may process information to identify senders, dates, times, message content, communication patterns, potential opt-out requests, potentially relevant statutory criteria, or other information that may assist attorneys in evaluating potential legal claims.
The Scan Tool is intended to assist with preliminary investigation and screening. Automated output does not independently determine whether a law was violated, whether a claim exists, whether Conquest Law will accept a matter, whether a particular defendant is liable, or whether any particular legal result will occur. Attorney review and additional factual investigation may be required.
Where applicable law provides specific rights concerning automated decisionmaking technology, profiling, or similar processing, Conquest Law will provide required notices and mechanisms as applicable to the particular processing activity.
6. LOCAL AUTOMATED SCANNING AND MANUAL OR REPRESENTATIVE-ASSISTED SCANNING
Conquest Law may conduct or facilitate message screening through two different processes: (1) a technology-assisted Scan using Conquest Law’s proprietary Scan Tool, which is designed so that the primary processing of the User’s underlying message data occurs locally on the User’s own computer or device; and (2) a manual or representative-assisted message review (“Assisted Scan”), during which the User may voluntarily display messages to a Conquest Law representative through screen sharing, FaceTime, Google Meet, Zoom, remote-control functionality, or another communications technology.
For a Scan conducted through the proprietary Scan Tool, Conquest Law does not intentionally require the User’s complete underlying message export or complete message database to be uploaded to Conquest Law merely to perform the local Scan. The User may separately elect to provide the resulting Scan Report to Conquest Law for evaluation.
During an Assisted Scan, however, information displayed by the User is necessarily made visible to the participating Conquest Law representative. Depending upon the technology selected and the permissions affirmatively granted by the User, the representative may view message threads, message content, sender names, telephone numbers, dates, times, links, images, metadata, and other information displayed on the User’s screen. Where the User separately enables remote-control functionality, the representative may temporarily navigate the User’s screen or device for purposes of identifying potentially relevant communications. The User may stop screen sharing, revoke remote-control access, decline to display particular information, or terminate the Assisted Scan at any time.
The User understands that screen sharing or remote navigation may result in incidental visibility of information unrelated to the potential legal matter, including contact names, message previews, notifications, photographs, applications, browser tabs, or other private information. Conquest Law does not intentionally seek unrelated private information merely because it becomes incidentally visible and will use reasonable efforts to limit the review to information relevant to the requested Scan. Users are encouraged to close unrelated applications, disable notifications, and conceal information they do not wish to display before beginning an Assisted Scan.
With the User’s authorization, Conquest Law may identify, screenshot, photograph, record, annotate, or otherwise preserve messages that appear potentially relevant to further legal review (“Candidate Messages”), or may instruct the User to capture and provide such messages. Candidate Messages and associated records voluntarily captured or provided through this process may be transmitted to and stored by Conquest Law for preliminary claim evaluation, evidence preservation, conflicts analysis where applicable, determining whether representation may be offered, and, if representation is subsequently established, providing legal services.
Whether the Scan is conducted through the proprietary Scan Tool or through an Assisted Scan, no browser, operating system, network, device, synchronization service, videoconferencing platform, remote-control service, third-party application, or computing environment can be guaranteed to operate without creating temporary or ancillary data. Information associated with either process may therefore, in some circumstances, be temporarily, incidentally, or automatically stored, cached, logged, synchronized, backed up, transmitted, or retained through browser storage, temporary files, operating-system processes, cloud synchronization, software logs, backups, videoconferencing platforms, remote-access technologies, troubleshooting systems, or other technical mechanisms.
Conquest Law does not intentionally use Message Data, Candidate Messages, Scan Reports, or private information observed during an Assisted Scan for unrelated advertising or commercial profiling.
7. SCAN REPORTS PROVIDED TO CONQUEST LAW
If you affirmatively elect to share a Scan Report, you authorize Conquest Law to receive, store, review, analyze, and use the report for purposes associated with evaluating potential legal claims, conducting legal intake, determining whether representation may be appropriate, and performing other legitimate legal or professional functions.
Scan Reports may include senders, telephone numbers, message dates and times, excerpts, links, message classifications, potential violations, or other information derived from communications selected for analysis.
In connection with an Assisted Scan, Conquest Law may also receive or create screenshots, screen captures, photographs, notes, annotations, or other records of Candidate Messages that the User has authorized Conquest Law to identify or preserve. Such information may contain private communications and may constitute personal information or sensitive personal information under applicable law. Conquest Law may use and retain such information for the same legitimate legal-intake, claim-evaluation, evidence-preservation, conflicts, professional-responsibility, and legal-services purposes applicable to Scan Reports as described in this Privacy Policy.
Conquest Law does not intentionally disclose Candidate Messages, screenshots of private communications, Scan Reports, or information concerning the substance of a prospective legal claim to Meta or other advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Providing a Scan Report does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship.
8. META PIXEL, COOKIES, ANALYTICS, AND ADVERTISING TECHNOLOGIES
Conquest Law may use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, analytics technologies, advertising identifiers, conversion APIs, or similar technologies in connection with portions of our Website and advertising funnel.
These technologies may include technology provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., including the Meta Pixel, and technology supplied by other advertising, analytics, attribution, or marketing providers.
Depending upon the technology and your interaction with the Website, these tools may receive information such as your IP address, browser or device information, website activity, advertisement interactions, page views, referral information, approximate location information, conversion activity, and advertising or cookie identifiers.
Conquest Law may use these technologies for purposes including analytics, measurement, attribution, advertising effectiveness, fraud prevention, audience measurement, campaign optimization, and, where permitted by applicable law and your privacy choices, advertising or retargeting.
CONQUEST LAW DOES NOT INTENTIONALLY CONFIGURE ADVERTISING TECHNOLOGIES SUCH AS THE META PIXEL TO RECEIVE THE CONTENTS OF YOUR TEXT MESSAGES, YOUR UNDERLYING MESSAGE EXPORT, YOUR SCAN REPORT, THE SUBSTANCE OF CONFIDENTIAL LEGAL COMMUNICATIONS, OR FACT-SPECIFIC INFORMATION CONCERNING A PROSPECTIVE LEGAL CLAIM.
Our advertising and analytics systems should be technologically separated from the portions of the Scan process that process underlying Message Data. However, ordinary technical identifiers or events associated with navigating to or interacting with a Website may still be processed by applicable analytics or advertising technologies as described in this Policy.
9. “SALE” AND “SHARING” OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Conquest Law does not sell personal information for money in the ordinary meaning of the word “sell.”
Certain privacy statutes, including California law, may nevertheless define “sale” or “sharing” more broadly than an exchange of information for money. For example, disclosure of certain identifiers, internet activity, or advertising information to an advertising platform for cross-context behavioral advertising may constitute “sharing” under applicable California law.
Accordingly, to the extent Conquest Law engages in activities legally defined as “sale” or “sharing,” eligible consumers may exercise the applicable right to opt out.
Conquest Law does not knowingly sell or share the contents of Scan Reports or underlying Message Data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Conquest Law does not knowingly sell or share confidential prospective-client communications for cross-context behavioral advertising.
10. GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL AND “YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES”
Where required by applicable law, Conquest Law recognizes qualifying browser-based opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (“GPC”), as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information associated with the browser or device sending the signal.
A California consumer may also exercise applicable sale/share preferences through the “Your Privacy Choices” or equivalent mechanism made available on the Website.
Where applicable law requires Conquest Law to honor an opt-out preference signal without additional action by the User, Conquest Law will process the signal in accordance with applicable law.
An opt-out request concerning advertising-related sale or sharing does not necessarily prevent processing necessary to provide Services requested by you, protect security, conduct legal intake, maintain legally required records, or perform other activities that are not treated as sale or sharing under applicable law.
11. SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION
Conquest Law may process sensitive personal information where reasonably necessary to conduct legal intake, perform a Scan requested by you, evaluate a potential claim, provide legal services, secure the Services, comply with law, or perform another purpose permitted by applicable law.
Conquest Law does not use sensitive personal information obtained through a Scan or genuine legal intake for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you for unrelated advertising.
To the extent applicable California law gives you a right to limit particular uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information and Conquest Law engages in processing subject to that right, the Firm will provide an appropriate mechanism for exercising that right.
12. CATEGORIES OF THIRD PARTIES AND SERVICE PROVIDERS
Subject to applicable professional obligations and law, personal information may be disclosed to or processed by categories of recipients such as:
(a) website hosting and infrastructure providers;
(b) secure data-storage providers;
(c) customer relationship management and intake providers;
(d) scheduling providers;
(e) telephone, SMS, and email communications providers;
(f) videoconferencing providers;
(g) analytics providers;
(h) advertising and attribution providers with respect to appropriately limited Website and advertising information;
(i) information-security and fraud-prevention providers;
(j) artificial intelligence or software providers where appropriately used in connection with the Services;
(k) attorneys, law firms, experts, investigators, litigation vendors, courts, arbitrators, or other persons where disclosure is lawful and appropriate in connection with a prospective or actual legal matter;
(l) governmental, regulatory, or law-enforcement authorities where legally required;
(m) professional advisers, accountants, auditors, insurers, or other advisers where reasonably necessary; and
(n) a successor or acquirer in connection with a lawful corporate transaction, subject to applicable confidentiality and professional obligations.
Where Conquest Law uses a person as a “service provider” or “contractor” within the meaning of applicable privacy law, Conquest Law intends to use appropriate contractual restrictions as required by applicable law.
13. SERVICE PROVIDERS AND CONFIDENTIAL LEGAL INFORMATION
A third party’s technical ability to process information on behalf of Conquest Law does not authorize that third party to independently exploit confidential legal information.
Where Conquest Law uses technology providers in connection with confidential, prospective-client, or client information, Conquest Law will address confidentiality, security, and professional obligations as required by applicable law and rules of professional conduct.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy authorizes Conquest Law to disclose attorney-client privileged material in a manner that waives privilege where Conquest Law has an obligation to preserve it.
14. COMMUNICATIONS CONSENT DATA
If you consent to receive communications from Conquest Law, we may maintain records concerning that consent, including the telephone number or email address provided, the language presented to you, the version of the applicable Terms or disclosure, date and time of consent, IP address, browser or device information, electronic-signature information, and other metadata reasonably necessary to document the consent.
Where you expressly consent to communications before 8:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m. in your local time zone, Conquest Law may retain the corresponding acceptance record as evidence of the nature, scope, and timing of your authorization.
Consent records may be retained after you revoke communications consent where reasonably necessary to document compliance, prevent further communications, establish the scope or history of consent, resolve disputes, or satisfy legal requirements.
15. COMMUNICATIONS OPT-OUTS
You may exercise communications preferences separately from privacy rights.
For marketing text messages, you may reply STOP or use another legally recognized reasonable method of revocation.
For marketing emails, you may use the unsubscribe link provided in the communication or contact Conquest Law through the designated communications channel.
For marketing or automated telephone calls, you may communicate your request during the call or submit the request through the designated contact mechanism.
A communications opt-out does not necessarily require deletion of your personal information and does not necessarily prevent communications that are legally permitted for transactional, requested-service, appointment, security, legal-representation, or other non-marketing purposes.
16. UNSUCCESSFUL COMMUNICATIONS OPT-OUT
If you believe Conquest Law has not successfully processed a communications opt-out, please notify Conquest Law promptly through the contact mechanism identified below so that the Firm can investigate and correct the issue.
The Terms of Service contain additional contractual notice-and-cure procedures applicable to certain disputes concerning unsuccessful communications opt-outs.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy restricts a privacy or communications right that applicable law prohibits the parties from waiving.
17. DATA RETENTION
Conquest Law retains personal information for no longer than reasonably necessary and proportionate to accomplish the purposes for which it was collected or another disclosed and legally permissible purpose, taking into account the nature and sensitivity of the information and applicable legal, professional, evidentiary, security, and operational requirements.
Retention periods may vary depending upon the category of information.
Website analytics and advertising information may be retained according to Conquest Law’s operational needs and applicable provider settings.
Consent and opt-out records may be retained for periods reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance and resolve disputes.
Intake and prospective-client information may be retained for purposes including conflicts screening, professional responsibility, evidence preservation, claim evaluation, defense of legal claims, or other legitimate legal purposes.
Client files and information associated with actual representation may be retained in accordance with applicable professional obligations, Firm retention policies, engagement agreements, litigation obligations, and law.
Scan Reports voluntarily provided to Conquest Law may be retained while Conquest Law evaluates a potential matter and thereafter where reasonably necessary or permitted for professional, conflicts, evidentiary, legal, security, or recordkeeping purposes.
Conquest Law does not intend to retain personal information indefinitely merely because its technology technically permits retention.
18. DELETION REQUESTS
You may request deletion of personal information maintained by Conquest Law by submitting a request through the privacy request method identified in Section 28.
Where applicable law grants you a right to deletion, Conquest Law will process a valid request subject to legally recognized exceptions.
Even where deletion is requested, Conquest Law may retain information where permitted or required for purposes including:
(a) completing a transaction or Service requested by you;
(b) maintaining appropriate conflicts records;
(c) complying with professional-responsibility requirements;
(d) preserving attorney-client, prospective-client, litigation, or evidentiary records;
(e) complying with a litigation hold, subpoena, court order, or applicable law;
(f) detecting or preventing fraud, security incidents, or misuse;
(g) documenting consent or revocation;
(h) establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims;
(i) complying with regulatory, accounting, tax, insurance, or recordkeeping requirements; or
(j) other legally permitted internal purposes consistent with applicable law.
Deletion from Conquest Law’s active systems may not immediately remove information from disaster-recovery backups or systems where immediate deletion is technically impracticable, provided such retained information remains appropriately restricted until deletion or overwrite occurs in the ordinary course.
A request to Conquest Law cannot require Conquest Law to delete copies independently controlled by your own device or an unrelated third-party service provider.
19. SECURITY
Conquest Law uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards that the Firm considers reasonably appropriate to the nature of the information it processes.
No information system, website, email provider, device, cloud environment, network, videoconferencing provider, artificial intelligence system, or other technology can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, Conquest Law cannot promise absolute security.
Users should avoid displaying passwords, financial information, unrelated private information, or other unnecessary sensitive content during screen-sharing sessions and should maintain appropriate security on their own devices and accounts.
20. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY NOTICE
This Section supplements the remainder of this Privacy Policy for California residents.
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”), applies to entities meeting statutory requirements. Whether particular CCPA obligations apply to Conquest Law may depend upon the Firm’s status under the statute at the relevant time.
Where the CCPA applies to Conquest Law, California consumers have the rights described below, subject to statutory exceptions and verification requirements.
Where Conquest Law is not legally required to provide a particular CCPA right, the Firm may nevertheless choose in its discretion to honor substantially similar privacy requests where doing so is reasonably practicable and consistent with its legal and professional obligations. Such voluntary accommodation does not constitute an admission that Conquest Law is a “business” subject to the CCPA.
21. CALIFORNIA CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
During the preceding twelve (12) months, depending upon interactions with Users, Conquest Law may have collected categories of personal information corresponding to:
Identifiers, such as name, contact information, IP address, device identifiers, or similar identifiers;
Personal records and customer information, such as telephone number, address, account or intake information;
Characteristics of protected classifications, but only where voluntarily provided or otherwise relevant to a legal matter;
Commercial information, where applicable to an interaction or potential legal matter;
Internet or other electronic network activity, including Website activity and interactions with advertisements;
Geolocation information, generally approximate location derived from IP address or similar information unless more precise information is voluntarily provided;
Audio, electronic, visual, or similar information, including recorded meetings where consent is provided;
Professional or employment information, where supplied and relevant;
Inferences, where generated from information for purposes such as legal intake, fraud prevention, analytics, or advertising as legally permitted;
Sensitive personal information, which may include communication contents and other sensitive information voluntarily processed in connection with a Scan or legal intake; and
Other personal information, including information contained in communications, evidence, or prospective legal matters.
The sources and business or commercial purposes for these categories are described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.
22. CALIFORNIA RIGHT TO KNOW AND ACCESS
Where applicable, you may request that Conquest Law disclose personal information collected about you, including applicable categories of personal information, categories of sources, purposes for collection, categories of third parties to whom information is disclosed, and specific pieces of personal information as provided by law.
23. CALIFORNIA RIGHT TO DELETE
Where applicable, you may request deletion of personal information collected from you, subject to exceptions permitted under California law and other applicable legal or professional obligations.
24. CALIFORNIA RIGHT TO CORRECT
Where applicable, you may request correction of inaccurate personal information maintained about you, taking into account the nature of the information and purposes for which it is processed.
25. CALIFORNIA RIGHT TO OPT OUT OF SALE OR SHARING
Where applicable, California consumers may direct Conquest Law not to sell or share their personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
Conquest Law does not sell personal information for monetary compensation.
Certain advertising or analytics disclosures may nevertheless constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law.
Eligible consumers may exercise the applicable right through the Your Privacy Choices mechanism on the Website or by using a qualifying Global Privacy Control signal.
Conquest Law will not discriminate against a consumer for exercising a right provided by applicable California privacy law.
26. CALIFORNIA RIGHT TO LIMIT USE OF SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION
Conquest Law generally uses sensitive information associated with legal intake and Scans for purposes reasonably necessary to provide requested Services, evaluate legal matters, secure the Services, comply with professional obligations, or perform other purposes permitted by law.
If Conquest Law uses or discloses sensitive personal information in a manner that creates a statutory right to limit such use, California consumers may exercise that right through the privacy mechanism provided by the Firm.
27. NON-DISCRIMINATION
Where applicable law provides privacy rights, Conquest Law will not unlawfully discriminate against you because you exercised those rights.
Exercise of a privacy right will not affect the Firm’s professional obligation to make independent decisions about whether it can or should accept a legal representation.
28. HOW TO EXERCISE PRIVACY RIGHTS
Privacy requests may be submitted through:
Online: [INSERT PRIVACY REQUEST FORM / YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES URL]
Email: [INSERT PRIVACY EMAIL ADDRESS]
Telephone: [INSERT TOLL-FREE NUMBER IF REQUIRED/APPLICABLE]
Please identify the nature of your request and provide sufficient information for Conquest Law to identify the records reasonably associated with you.
Conquest Law may verify requests to the extent permitted or required by law. Verification may depend upon the nature and sensitivity of the requested information.
We will not ask you to provide substantially more personal information than reasonably necessary to verify a request.
An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf where permitted by applicable law, subject to legally permitted verification of the agent’s authority and, where appropriate, your identity.
29. GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL REQUESTS
Where applicable, a qualifying Global Privacy Control or other legally recognized opt-out preference signal will be treated as a request to opt out of sale or sharing for the browser or device from which the signal is received.
You are not required to create an account merely to exercise such a signal where applicable law prohibits that requirement.
If you later affirmatively authorize processing inconsistent with a prior signal, Conquest Law will obtain any authorization required by applicable law before changing the applicable privacy preference.
30. DO NOT TRACK
Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals that are separate from legally recognized opt-out preference signals.
Because there is not a single universally accepted standard governing ordinary Do Not Track signals, our response to such signals may vary.
Where a browser transmits a legally recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control and applicable law requires us to honor it, we will treat that signal in accordance with applicable law.
31. CALIFORNIA “SHINE THE LIGHT”
California residents may have rights under California Civil Code section 1798.83 concerning certain disclosures of personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.
Conquest Law does not disclose confidential Scan Data, prospective-client legal communications, or client information to third parties for those third parties’ independent direct-marketing purposes.
California residents may contact us using the privacy contact information below with questions concerning this provision.
32. CHILDREN AND MINORS
The Services are intended for adults.
Conquest Law does not knowingly offer its Scan Tool to children under eighteen (18) years of age and does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under sixteen (16) years of age for cross-context behavioral advertising without legally required authorization.
If we learn that information was collected from a minor in circumstances requiring deletion or other action, we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.
33. AUTOMATED DECISIONMAKING RIGHTS
California has adopted regulations addressing certain uses of automated decisionmaking technology. Applicable requirements phase in according to the nature and use of the technology.
To the extent Conquest Law becomes subject to an applicable requirement concerning automated decisionmaking technology, the Firm will provide required notices, access rights, opt-out rights, or meaningful information concerning such processing when and as required by law.
The Scan Tool’s identification of communications for potential attorney review is not intended, by itself, to constitute a final legal determination concerning the User or the User’s entitlement to legal services.
34. PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY AND PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS
Privacy statutes do not define the entirety of Conquest Law’s obligations concerning information received in a legal consultation.
A person who consults a lawyer for purposes of obtaining legal services may qualify as a prospective client under applicable rules of professional conduct even where no representation results.
Accordingly, Conquest Law may be independently restricted in how it uses or discloses information received through genuine prospective-client consultations.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy should be interpreted to reduce a confidentiality, privilege, loyalty, conflicts, or professional-responsibility obligation that applicable law independently imposes upon the Firm or its attorneys.
35. ATTORNEY-CLIENT PRIVILEGE
Submission of information through a general Website form does not automatically make every communication attorney-client privileged.
If an attorney-client relationship is established, communications made for purposes of seeking or providing legal advice may receive protections under applicable privilege, confidentiality, and professional-responsibility law.
Whether privilege applies depends upon applicable law and the circumstances of the communication.
36. LEGAL DISCLOSURES AND PRESERVATION
Conquest Law may preserve or disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, court orders, subpoenas, regulatory requirements, professional obligations, ethical duties, evidence-preservation obligations, litigation holds, or lawful governmental requests.
Where legally permitted and professionally appropriate, Conquest Law may challenge or limit requests seeking confidential or privileged information.
37. CORPORATE TRANSACTIONS
If Conquest Law undergoes a merger, reorganization, restructuring, asset transfer, or similar transaction, information associated with the operation of its Website or technology may be transferred subject to applicable confidentiality, professional-responsibility, privacy, and legal restrictions.
Nothing in this Section permits transfer of an attorney-client relationship or privileged information in a manner prohibited by applicable law.
38. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SOFTWARE
The Services may contain links to or rely upon third-party services, including scheduling software, videoconferencing platforms, message-export software, advertising platforms, analytics systems, or other technology.
Conquest Law does not control independent third-party privacy practices merely because a third-party service is used in connection with the Services.
You should review the privacy policies applicable to third-party services before using them.
39. DATA BREACH AND INCIDENT RESPONSE
Conquest Law maintains procedures intended to identify and respond to security incidents affecting information under its control.
Where applicable law requires notification following a qualifying security incident or data breach, Conquest Law will provide legally required notice to affected persons and governmental authorities as applicable.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy expands or contracts statutory rights relating to security incidents.
40. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
Conquest Law may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, the Services, data practices, vendors, or operational requirements.
The effective or “Last Updated” date will be displayed above.
Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent before Conquest Law materially changes how previously collected personal information will be used, Conquest Law will provide such notice or obtain such consent as required.

CALIFORNIA NOTICE AT COLLECTION
This Notice at Collection applies to California residents and supplements the Conquest Law Privacy Policy.
